Together with the Dutch Studio Wessels Boer, Eugenia Morpurgo was invited by Baad El Bahr Cultural Association, Cairo (Egypt) to run a four day workshop within the project From Rags to Riches.

From Rags to Riches is a project devoted to public art created with up-cycled materials. This definition refers to works of art that have been planned and executed with the specific purpose of being sited or staged in the physical public domain, usually outdoors and accessible to all, and that are made of unconventional materials.

The workshop focused on offering training for artists in order to increase their skills in the use of disposable materials for the creation of public space artworks.
